HOLIDAY ALERT
8/28/2025-The WPRA office will be closed Monday, September 1st for Labor Day. You may still contact the office via email and fax and we will respond when the office reopens on Tuesday, September 2nd. Because of the holiday, rodeo payouts will be delayed.
Carlee Otero Named Utah’s Pioneer Week WPRA Top Hand for 2025
In 2023, the Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo spearheaded Utah’s Pioneer Week initiative featuring three PRCA rodeos the third week in July in Salt Lake City, Spanish Fork and Ogden, all within 150-mile radius of each other, that would offer a two-million-dollar week for professional rodeo athletes.

Spotlight on Rules
A contestant may enter as many WPRA events as she so chooses. However, no more than 100 WPRA approved events for barrel racing and 80 for breakaway roping will be accepted as “official entries”.
Refer to section 10.4.1.8. in the WPRA Rulebook.
